Thursday:
School, trip to mall, nothing too exciting. Went out to search for food, found some at a place called 山ちゃん, yamachan, a kindof wing place with yummy japanese food, picture of food will follow.
Below is the Gyoza wrapped in chicken skin, then fried. amazingly awesome.
Also that night i found anime slot machines, this one is of my favorite, didn't play but watched someone and depending on what you roll an animation will come on, it's neat.
Friday
School. then a Group of us went back to yamachan, then to karaoke, then -
Saturday
Hung out around the dorms, durring the day getting stuff done. then in the afternoon headed to osu-kannon station to a big mall, we ate food at a ramen place, then went to a hookah bar a japanese student showed us to. after that we walked back, on the way back though i did finally goto a japanese McDonalds, got a bigmack with egg, ham, and cheese. it was pretty awesome to say the least. and that was saturday.
TODAY
went to mall, went to market, did homework, and not blogging. for dinner i tried to make a burger but then found out what i had bought was ground pork used for gyoza, i then went back to the store and bought the japanese spagetti sauce, it wasn't that great, the meat was odd. over all just going to not make that dinner ever again. more pictures will follow again of stuff i did.
overall it was a relaxing weekend for the most part and the hookah bar was definatley a highlight. Tomorrow another week of school starts. Hacing a good time here so far though, no real issues with anything has of yet and the area we are in is great, very nice city. Things are also starting to cool down finally which is also nice. i've been doing a lot of walking as well as i walk just about everywhere, yesterday to osu-kannon was the first time i had taken the underground. we walked back.
I do find my self saying from time to time "why don't we have this in america?" a lot of little things just seem to be so much nicer here. when i remember what they are i'll put them here, but i do say that pretty often, and not really taken note.
